Family Services Program Trainer

Crystal Stairs seeks an experienced Family Services Program Trainer to join our team in Windsor Hills, Los Angeles County. In this full-time role, you'll design and deliver high-impact training programs that strengthen our workforce and advance quality child care services across our community.

About the Role

As a Family Services Program Trainer at Crystal Stairs, you'll develop and facilitate professional development initiatives that equip our staff and community partners with the knowledge and skills needed to serve families effectively. This position combines curriculum design, adult instruction, and program evaluation to build a more skilled, responsive child care workforce.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and deliver training curricula aligned with child care best practices, family services standards, and organizational priorities
• Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for child care providers, family service coordinators, and administrative staff
• Assess training effectiveness through participant feedback, knowledge assessments, and outcome measurement
• Collaborate with program leadership to identify workforce development needs and gaps
• Maintain current knowledge of child care regulations, family services frameworks, and evidence-based practices
• Document training materials, attendance records, and program outcomes for compliance and reporting
• Support the development of training resources that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in child care services

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in education, child development, social work, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering training or professional development programs
• Knowledge of child care, family services, early childhood development, or related disciplines
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage diverse audiences and create inclusive learning environments
• Experience with program evaluation and outcomes measurement
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning management systems
