About the Role
As our European Automotive Technician, you'll be the go-to specialist for servicing European vehicles in our Tuscaloosa shop. You'll work on a variety of makes and models—from luxury sedans to performance sports cars—applying your technical knowledge to deliver expert diagnostics and reliable repairs. This is a hands-on position where your expertise directly impacts customer satisfaction and shop reputation.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on European vehicles using factory-specific diagnostic equipment and procedures
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and brake service on European models
- Execute comprehensive repair work on engines, transmissions, suspension, electrical systems, and other vehicle components
- Read and interpret technical service bulletins and repair manuals specific to European automotive manufacturers
- Document work performed with accurate notes and timesheets for customer records and quality assurance
- Communicate findings and recommendations to customers in clear, professional language
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all shop safety and quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an automotive technician specializing in European vehicles
- Strong knowledge of European automotive brands, systems, and repair procedures
- Proficiency with European-specific diagnostic tools and software
- Current ASE certification or equivalent technical qualifications preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the Tuscaloosa location
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members
