About the Role
As Senior Energy Engineer, you'll take a leadership role in our energy consulting practice, managing high-impact projects and mentoring junior engineers. This full-time position is based in our Piscataway office, where you'll collaborate with clients on complex energy challenges and deliver solutions that optimize building performance and reduce operational costs.
What You'll Do
- Lead building energy modeling projects and renewable energy consulting engagements for commercial and institutional clients
- Conduct comprehensive energy audits and develop actionable recommendations for building performance improvement
- Oversee master planning initiatives and capital improvement strategies aligned with energy efficiency and sustainability goals
- Execute building commissioning and retro-commissioning projects to optimize operational performance and building systems
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to quality assurance across all consulting deliverables
- Collaborate with architects, facilities managers, and stakeholders to implement energy solutions
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or related discipline
- Significant professional experience in energy engineering, building science, or energy consulting
- Expertise in energy modeling software and building performance analysis
- Strong project management and leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences
- Knowledge of energy codes, building standards, and sustainability practices
