Position Summary

Join Scottish Water as an Estates Surveyor and contribute to the vital task of ensuring Scotland's water infrastructure is managed effectively. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities, from managing commercial land to supporting the maintenance and development of our assets.

What You'll Do

• Conduct surveys and inspections of commercial lands and properties related to Scottish Water’s operations.
• Prepare detailed reports on survey findings for use in decision-making processes.
• Manage land transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and leases.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations regarding land management.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support the commercial objectives of Scottish Water’s estate.

What We're Looking For

• A degree in Surveying, Land Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Estates Surveyor or similar role within the water industry.
• Strong knowledge of land management principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with various stakeholders.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
