Environmental Consulting Client Manager

The Foth Companies is hiring an Environmental Consulting Client Manager to join our Hansen Road office in Brown County. This is a full-time position where you'll build and strengthen client relationships while coordinating project delivery across our science and engineering teams.

About the Role

As Client Manager, you'll be the primary point of contact for assigned environmental consulting clients, ensuring their projects deliver measurable results on time and on budget. You'll work at the intersection of client expectations and technical delivery, translating complex engineering challenges into clear communication and actionable outcomes. This role combines relationship building with operational responsibility—you'll manage timelines, oversee project scope, and serve as an advocate for both client success and team execution.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with environmental consulting clients through regular communication and strategic account management
• Coordinate project scope, budgets, and schedules to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and multidisciplinary engineering and science teams
• Monitor project progress, identify risks early, and implement solutions to keep work on track
• Support proposal development and client proposals when needed
• Contribute to client retention and growth through excellent service and problem-solving

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience managing client relationships in a consulting, engineering, or professional services environment
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple clients and timelines
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Familiarity with environmental, engineering, or scientific consulting (or demonstrated ability to quickly learn)
• Proactive problem-solving mindset and comfort working cross-functionally with technical teams
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
