Energy Credits Senior Manager – TCIA

Join Cherry Bekaert as a Senior Manager in the Tax Credits and Incentives Advisory (TCIA) Practice, based in Jackson, Hinds County. This full-time role offers the opportunity to lead a specialized team while delivering high-impact tax equity investment consulting services to clients across the energy sector.

About the Role

You'll serve as a strategic leader within a seasoned TCIA team, combining deep expertise in accounting and taxation with hands-on consulting delivery. Your focus will be on structuring and advising clients on complex tax equity investments, with particular emphasis on energy credits and incentives that drive project economics and enterprise value.

What You'll Do

• Guide clients through Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) energy credits and related federal tax incentives to optimize investment structures and compliance strategies
• Lead engagement teams in developing tax equity investment frameworks and detailed financial modeling for renewable energy and clean energy projects
• Mentor and develop junior team members while fostering a collaborative, client-focused culture
• Manage complex client relationships, translating technical tax strategy into business value
• Stay current with evolving IRA guidance, Treasury regulations, and incentive program requirements affecting energy projects
• Contribute to practice growth through business development and thought leadership

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in Inflation Reduction Act energy credits, investment tax credits, or related federal tax incentive programs
• Strong background in accounting, taxation, or energy finance
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams and lead in client advisory roles
• Knowledge of tax equity structures, energy project financing, or renewable energy economics
• Strong analytical and communication skills to synthesize complex tax concepts for diverse audiences
• Relevant certifications (CPA, CFA) a plus
