What This Role Involves

As an Audit Senior, you'll take on increased responsibility for planning and executing audits across a diverse client base. You'll supervise fieldwork, mentor junior team members, and ensure all audit procedures meet the highest professional standards. This role bridges technical audit expertise with leadership, requiring you to manage timelines, quality, and client satisfaction while contributing to the firm's continued growth in South Florida's dynamic business market.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and document audit fieldwork for assigned engagements
• Develop audit programs and define testing procedures for specific audit areas
• Review and evaluate work papers prepared by junior audit staff
• Perform substantive audit testing and assess audit findings
• Lead client meetings and communicate audit progress and results
• Mentor and train junior auditors on technical audit skills and firm standards
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, auditing standards, and internal control requirements
• Support business development and maintain strong client relationships

Skills & Qualifications

• CPA or actively working toward CPA certification
• 4–6 years of audit experience with a mid-size or larger accounting firm
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, auditing standards, and internal control frameworks
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven leadership ability and capacity to manage multiple priorities
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
