About This Position
St. Mary School in Rockville, Maryland is seeking a dedicated and experienced Elementary School Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. This full-time position will report directly to the Principal.
Core Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with educational standards
- Create a positive learning environment that fosters academic growth and social development in students
- Evaluate student progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in teaching methods and curriculum delivery
- Communicate regularly with parents to discuss student performance and progress
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in elementary education or a related field
- Licensed as an Elementary School Teacher in the state of Maryland
- Proven experience teaching at the elementary level, preferably within a Catholic school setting
