About the Role

As a Domestic Violence Case Manager, you'll provide direct support and advocacy to survivors navigating the critical transition from crisis to stability. This full-time position focuses on connecting clients with safe housing, legal resources, economic empowerment, and counseling services while maintaining a trauma-informed, survivor-centered approach.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized safety and housing plans with clients
• Provide crisis response and emotional support to survivors of domestic violence
• Coordinate access to emergency shelter, transitional housing, and permanent supportive housing
• Connect clients with legal services, counseling, employment training, and other community resources
• Maintain detailed case documentation and progress notes in compliance with agency standards
• Collaborate with community partners, shelters, legal advocates, and social service providers
• Support clients in achieving housing stability, independence, and long-term safety goals

What We're Looking For

• Experience working with survivors of domestic violence or in victim advocacy
• Strong case management, crisis intervention, and conflict de-escalation skills
• Ability to work with clients experiencing trauma, homelessness, or complex needs
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Knowledge of local resources, housing programs, and social services in Alameda County
• Commitment to Housing First principles and trauma-informed care
• Bachelor's degree in social work, counseling, criminal justice, or related field (or relevant professional experience)
