Join Chesapeake's as a Dishwasher and become a critical part of our kitchen operations. You'll work evening shifts in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring every plate, glass, and piece of cookware meets our rigorous cleanliness standards. Your work directly supports our chefs and servers in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests.

What You'll Do

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, and cookware according to food safety protocols
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain clean, organized workstations in the dish pit and surrounding areas
• Follow all local, state, and federal food safety regulations and sanitation procedures
• Handle food storage, cleaning, and preparation areas with strict adherence to health codes
• Sort and manage recyclables and compostables as needed
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to support daily operations

What We're Looking For

• Ability to follow detailed sanitation and safety procedures consistently
• Experience operating commercial dishwashing equipment (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety compliance
• Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a busy restaurant environment
