Position Summary
The Director of Building Operations at Children's Rescue Fund in New York, New York is responsible for maintaining an efficient and satisfactory living and work environment by overseeing all day-to-day operations of the Single Adult shelter located in New York, NY. This role involves supporting efforts to place Adult Singles into permanent housing and directly supervising a team of Operations Managers and Shift Supervisors.

- Oversee daily operations at the shelter, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for residents and staff.
- Support the placement of adult singles into permanent housing by coordinating with various stakeholders.
- Directly supervise a team of Operations Managers and Shift Supervisors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and resident satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in building operations management, preferably within a shelter or residential setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team of Operations Managers and Shift Supervisors.
- Experience in supporting residents' transition into permanent housing is highly desirable.
- A deep understanding of operational policies and procedures in a residential setting, including health and safety regulations.
