Direct Hire Recruiter (Full Desk/360)

Openwork is hiring a Full-Time Direct Hire Recruiter (Full Desk/360) based in Pasadena, Harris County. In this full-cycle recruitment role, you'll own the complete hiring process—from sourcing and screening candidates through placement and onboarding—building talent pipelines across multiple departments and job levels for our clients and internal teams.

About the Role

As a Direct Hire Recruiter, you'll manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, partnering with hiring managers and clients to understand their talent needs, source qualified candidates, conduct screening interviews, coordinate assessments, and shepherd placements to successful outcomes. You'll develop a deep network of professional contacts, master job market knowledge in your focus areas, and use recruiting systems to track, manage, and nurture candidate pipelines. Your success directly impacts our ability to match talented professionals with the right opportunities.

What You'll Do

• Source, screen, and interview candidates across multiple job categories, departments, and experience levels
• Build and maintain a strong candidate network through proactive outreach, relationship building, and market intelligence
• Manage job orders end-to-end: understand client needs, develop position strategies, and execute placements
• Conduct technical and behavioral assessments to evaluate fit, culture alignment, and skill levels
• Collaborate with hiring managers and clients to refine job requirements, provide candidate insights, and navigate hiring decisions
• Track candidate progress and maintain organized pipeline data using CRM and applicant tracking systems
• Support successful onboarding and placement follow-up to ensure long-term retention and client satisfaction
