Position Summary
The Digital Designer is a key member of the Ogilvy One design team, responsible for producing high-quality, on-brand digital assets across web, social media, EDM, and app channels. This role sits within the Ogilvy One New Zealand team and works closely with the CX Digital team to ensure seamless integration and delivery of projects.
Responsibilities
- Create visually appealing and engaging digital content for various platforms including web, social media, email marketing, and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliverables, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and objectives.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, technologies, and tools to enhance creative output and improve user experience.
- Ensure all digital assets are optimized for performance, usability, and accessibility across different devices and browsers.
Qualifications
- Degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field; relevant work experience is also highly valued.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, and Figma.
- Experience with responsive web design and mobile-first approaches to create seamless user experiences across devices.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for basic front-end development is a plus.
- A strong portfolio showcasing previous work in digital design projects.
