About the Role

The mission of The New York Times is to seek the truth and help people understand the world. This position involves developing campaigns and marketing efforts that support the business for the News product and All Access subscription, within the News+ marketing department. Reporting to the Creative Director, Design, Marketing, this 6-month role requires collaboration with other marketing creative team members and partners in various departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead creative ideation, execution, and production of marketing assets
  • Contribute to the evolution of design systems, libraries, and templates for large-scale experimentation
  • Work closely with writers, designers, audio, video teams, as well as partners in marketing and media strategy, product design, audience insights, and brand identity
  • Create campaigns across the marketing funnel that drive performance while maintaining high standards of design craft

What We're Looking For

  • A refined aesthetic and nuanced understanding of typography, layout, color, and motion design
  • Advanced design craft skills with a focus on idea generation and execution
  • The ability to inspire and excite others through your work
