About the Role

As our Digital Court Reporter, you'll provide the technical expertise that makes every deposition run smoothly. You'll be responsible for the complete lifecycle of recording—from equipment setup and calibration to live operation and post-deposition file delivery. Your work ensures that testimony is preserved with the clarity and reliability the legal system demands.

What You'll Do

• Set up, test, and calibrate professional audio and video recording systems before each deposition begins
• Operate recording equipment during depositions, monitoring audio and video quality throughout proceedings
• Respond quickly to technical issues and troubleshoot equipment problems in real-time
• Organize and prepare recorded files for delivery, ensuring proper naming, format, and file integrity
• Maintain and inspect equipment regularly to keep all systems in reliable working condition
• Coordinate with attorneys, court reporters, and participants to support their technical needs
• Travel to deposition locations throughout the Alexandria area
