Design Project Manager

Southland Industries is looking for a Design Project Manager in Port Washington, Ozaukee County, to lead complex construction and design initiatives from project inception through successful completion. This full-time position plays a central role in coordinating design efforts, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving project success across multiple concurrent engagements.

The Opportunity

As Design Project Manager at Southland Industries, you'll oversee the full lifecycle of design projects, partnering with owners, engineers, and architects to deliver integrated solutions. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Direct project teams through all phases of design coordination and delivery
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to align project scope and outcomes
• Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and risk assessments for internal management
• Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining realistic budgets and schedules
• Build and sustain strong relationships with clients and design partners throughout project execution
• Communicate progress and issues transparently to all stakeholders

Requirements

• Proven experience managing design projects in construction, engineering, or related fields
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with external partners
• Strong financial acumen and experience with project budgeting and cost management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
