About the Role

The Dental Claims Specialist plays a crucial role within our Billing department. This position is based in our New Brighton center and involves posting insurance payments, allocating them to the correct services, following up on dental and medical insurance denials, resubmitting claims as necessary, and collecting from both insurance companies and patients.

Responsibilities

• Post incoming insurance payments accurately to the appropriate services
• Follow up on denied dental and medical insurance claims, ensuring timely resubmission when needed
• Collect outstanding balances from insurance companies and patients
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications
• Ensure compliance with all insurance policies and regulations
