The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Demi Chef de Partie to join our team at Marriott Hotels Resorts in Tamil Nadu. As a key member of the kitchen staff, you will play a crucial role in preparing special meals, maintaining food quality standards, and ensuring efficient operations during busy periods.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare special meals or substitute items as needed
• Regulate the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
• Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator
• Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and garnishing of food
• Maintain accurate food logs
• Monitor the quality and quantity of prepared food
• Communicate assistance needed during busy periods
• Inform the Chef of excess food items

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-volume kitchen setting
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards
• Ability to work effectively under pressure during peak hours
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with other kitchen staff
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects as required
