What This Role Involves

You'll be the final step in getting customer orders delivered quickly and safely. Using the DoorDash app, you'll accept deliveries that fit your availability, pick up orders from restaurants and retailers, and deliver them to customers' doors. The work is straightforward: manage your own route, stay organized, and ensure every order arrives on time. You control when you work and which deliveries you take, making this ideal for building supplemental income around your other commitments.

Your Responsibilities

• Accept delivery requests through the DoorDash driver app and plan efficient routes to multiple locations
• Pick up orders accurately from partner restaurants, grocery stores, and convenience retailers
• Transport orders safely, maintaining food and package quality during transit
• Navigate to delivery addresses and hand off orders to customers in a professional, courteous manner
• Handle cash and card payments when applicable and resolve delivery issues promptly
• Maintain a reliable vehicle and ensure it meets insurance and safety requirements

Who We're Looking For

• Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance for the state of Iowa
• Access to a reliable car, truck, or motorcycle in good working condition
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Comfort using smartphone apps and GPS navigation
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor with customers
• Willingness to handle multiple deliveries and adapt to changing priorities
