About the Role
As an Assistant Teacher, you'll work alongside our lead instructors in a collaborative, child-focused environment where education and care go hand-in-hand. This part-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early development while supporting the vision and mission of Learning Care Group.
What You'll Do
- Support classroom activities and learning experiences that foster curiosity and growth
- Assist with daily childcare routines including meals, transitions, and outdoor play
- Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment
- Work with lead teachers to implement curriculum and developmental activities
- Observe and document children's progress and behaviors
- Communicate regularly with families about their child's day and development
- Follow all licensing guidelines, safety protocols, and company standards
