Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on technical lead to design, build, and support our Enterprise Data Platform as a Data Engineer. This role will develop scalable, validated, production-ready data pipelines, enterprise data models, and certified data products that support laboratory operations, scientific analytics, sponsor reporting, regulatory compliance, and AI initiatives.
Your Responsibilities
- Implement modern data engineering practices including Snowflake, dbt, dimensional modeling, semantic modeling, CI/CD automation, DataOps, and enterprise data governance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of data pipelines and models
- Work under the direction of the Data Management Lead to drive the development and maintenance of our Enterprise Data Platform
Requirements
- Experience in designing, building, and supporting enterprise data platforms
- Proficiency with Snowflake, dbt, dimensional modeling, semantic modeling, CI/CD automation, DataOps, and enterprise data governance standards
- Strong understanding of data engineering practices and principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
