Role Overview

Applydigital is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team in Toronto, Ontario, Ontario. As part of the Agentic Customer Experience (ACx) partner for leading consumer and entertainment brands, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering agentic solutions that drive commercial success.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data pipelines using Snowflake technology
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes to ensure seamless data flow
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and efficiency
  • Ensure data quality through rigorous validation and testing procedures
  • Document all processes, procedures, and systems for easy maintenance and scalability

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or related role
  • Expertise in Snowflake technology and its best practices
  • Strong understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, and other scripting languages for data manipulation
  • Experience working in a hybrid/remote environment preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team setting
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
