CT Technologist – PRN (Barnes)

BJC Healthcare invites experienced CT Technologists to join Barnes Jewish Hospital's imaging department in Manchester, Saint Louis County, Missouri as a PRN (per diem) technologist. This flexible position offers the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art imaging facility while maintaining scheduling control.

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a PRN position with scheduling flexibility and a minimum commitment of 20 hours every 6 weeks. In this advanced imaging role at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, you'll operate cutting-edge CT equipment, perform specialized diagnostic procedures, and contribute to our commitment to clinical excellence in diagnostic imaging.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive CT imaging studies using advanced diagnostic technology
• Assess patient needs, explain CT procedures, and ensure optimal patient comfort during examinations
• Position patients accurately and operate imaging equipment according to established clinical protocols
• Assist with CT-guided biopsies and interventional procedure rotations
• Maintain patient safety standards and report equipment concerns
• Document imaging procedures and maintain accurate patient records
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and the clinical team

What We're Looking For

• Current CT certification (ARRT recommended) or documented CT technologist experience
• Minimum 1 year of professional CT imaging experience
• Demonstrated competency with advanced imaging modalities
• Strong interpersonal and patient communication abilities
• Ability to work independently in a high-acuity hospital setting
• Flexibility and reliability for a PRN schedule
