Position Summary

As Senior Corporate Accountant at Nvidia in Santa Clara, you'll take ownership of critical accounting functions that directly impact our financial reporting and compliance. You'll work in a dynamic environment managing corporate accounting matters, collaborating across finance teams, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness in our financial close process. Responsibilities

  • Manage corporate accounting activities including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliation
  • Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules for accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP principles and internal accounting policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with tax, audit, and other finance functions to support financial close processes
  • Research and resolve accounting issues; document conclusions and recommendations
  • Assist with audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors
  • Support regulatory compliance and financial reporting requirements
  • Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements within the accounting function

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 4+ years of corporate accounting experience with demonstrated expertise in financial reporting
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial close processes, and internal controls
  • Proficiency with accounting software and financial systems; ERP experience preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort with data analysis
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear communication skills and collaborative approach to problem-solving
  • CPA certification or commitment to pursuing one is a plus
