As our Prep Cook, you'll be the foundation of our kitchen operations. Working in a professional food service environment at our Phoenix location, you'll ensure every ingredient is prepared precisely and every station runs smoothly. What You'll Do

  • Prepare and portion ingredients to exact specifications and established recipes
  • Maintain immaculate food safety and sanitation standards throughout your shift
  • Set up, maintain, and break down prep stations with attention to organization and efficiency
  • Support the cooking team by delivering properly prepped components on schedule
  • Safely operate standard kitchen equipment and culinary tools
  • Monitor ingredient quality and flag supply issues to management

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 1 year of verifiable prep cooking experience in a professional kitchen
  • Solid grasp of food safety regulations and kitchen sanitation best practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production timelines
  • Reliable availability for a consistent Monday through Friday schedule
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Strong teamwork skills and responsiveness to kitchen leadership

Position Details

This is a full-time Prep Cook opening based at Scottsdale Christian Academy, 14400 North Tatum Boulevard, Phoenix, AZ 85032. You'll work Monday through Friday on one of two shifts: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm or 6:30 am to 3:00 pm (specific assignment to be discussed at interview).
