About the Role

As a Companion Care Professional - House Manager in Burke, Virginia, you will provide attentive, person-centered care that blends companionship with practical household oversight. This part-time position follows a set weekly schedule of roughly 4.5 hours each session — Mondays from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM — and offers an immediate start. These hours can be paired with additional cases through Always Best Care of Fairfax for caregivers seeking more time on the clock.

Key Responsibilities

• Offer warm companionship and meaningful social engagement to the client
• Manage everyday household tasks and help maintain a safe, orderly home environment
• Support the client's daily routine and overall well-being during scheduled visits
• Communicate reliably with the care team and report any changes or concerns
• Coordinate with Always Best Care of Fairfax to combine cases where additional hours are desired

Qualifications

• A genuine commitment to caring for older adults and supporting in-home independence
• Dependability and the ability to keep a consistent weekly schedule in Burke, VA 22015
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfort handling light household management alongside companion care duties
• Authorization to work and availability to begin immediately

Compensation

This role pays $19.25 to $21.00 per hour, with the opportunity to expand your hours by taking on additional cases through the agency.
