The Opportunity

San Diego Gulls is seeking a Community Relations Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role will be part-time and based in San Diego, California. As a key member of the organization, you'll play a vital role in enhancing community engagement and fostering positive relationships with local stakeholders.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and organizations
• Organize and coordinate community events and initiatives
• Support marketing and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility
• Assist in the planning and execution of special projects as needed
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to community relations efforts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in community relations or a similar role
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Aptitude for building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Familiarity with event planning and coordination
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
