Online Marketing Intern — Facebook & Display

InterNations is hiring an Online Marketing Intern — Facebook & Display to join our Online Marketing team in Germany, where you'll help grow a global community by shaping paid advertising campaigns that reach future members worldwide.

About the Role

Our Online Marketing department draws new members to InterNations through desktop and mobile campaigns across leading paid channels, including Facebook, search, Display, and TikTok. As an Online Marketing Intern — Facebook & Display, you'll report to the Senior Manager and play a hands-on part in advancing our paid advertising channels. This internship in Germany is ideal for a marketing-minded student eager to learn how performance-driven digital advertising works in practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Write and launch advertising copy tailored to specific audience segments
• Track the performance of ads and campaigns by reviewing relevant data and KPIs
• Refine campaigns and creatives to hit defined performance targets
• Trial and evaluate emerging paid advertising channels
• Work toward earning the Facebook Blueprint Certification

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at a university in business administration, marketing, or a comparable field
• Completing a mandatory internship as part of your studies, available for at least six months beginning mid-August 2026
• Comfortable working with large datasets, with solid Excel skills alongside other MS Office and internet tools
• Proactive, self-driven, and able to manage tasks independently
• Genuine interest in social media and digital advertising
• Written and spoken English at a native-speaker level

Please note: applications are only open to students whose degree requires a compulsory internship of at least six months. Applicants must be EU citizens or enrolled at a German university.
