Position Summary
The Communications & Event Marketing Intern will support the marketing and communications efforts of Childhood Cancer Society. This role involves coordinating events, managing social media, and assisting with content creation to enhance our brand's visibility and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing events, including coordination of logistics and promotion
- Create and manage social media content for various platforms
- Support the development and distribution of marketing materials, such as newsletters and promotional emails
- Contribute to the creation of engaging content for our website and other digital channels
- Help with data entry and analysis related to events and marketing campaigns
What We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in event planning or social media management
- Aptitude for content creation and editing
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with marketing software tools such as Canva, Hootsuite, or similar platforms is a plus
