The Opportunity

Gurstel Law Firm P C is seeking a dedicated Commercial Recoveries Account Representative to join our team. This role involves the collection of assigned accounts that are undergoing the pre-legal and judgment collection process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recovering unpaid account balances and judgments owed by businesses and personal guarantors, all in compliance with Gurstel Law Firm’s standard operating procedures.

Your Responsibilities

• Collect outstanding accounts receivable from businesses and personal guarantors.
• Communicate effectively with clients to resolve payment issues.
• Follow up on overdue payments through various collection methods, including phone calls, emails, and letters.
• Ensure all collections are in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Update records and maintain accurate documentation of all interactions and transactions.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable or similar collections roles.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements for commercial recoveries.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficient in using CRM software and other relevant tools.
