Position Summary

We are currently seeking experienced Commercial Kitchen Technicians to join our team at Pine Tree Food Equipment in Salem. As a technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various kitchen equipment including ice machines, walk-in coolers, freezers, ovens, fryers, griddles, and HVAC units.

What You'll Do

• Maintain and repair cold and hot side commercial kitchen equipment
• Ensure all equipment is operating efficiently and safely
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
• Diagnose and resolve issues with equipment quickly and effectively
• Work closely with our team to identify areas for improvement in the kitchen's operational efficiency
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns promptly and professionally

Requirements

• Experience as a Commercial Kitchen Technician or similar role
• Possession of a gas license (required)
• Hands-on experience with cold and/or hot side commercial kitchen equipment
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (company vehicle may be provided)
