Commercial Drywall Estimator

This is a full-time position with a respected firm that prioritizes accuracy, efficiency, and professional excellence in commercial construction.

About the Role

As a Commercial Drywall Estimator, you will develop accurate cost estimates and competitive bids for commercial drywall and metal framing projects. You'll collaborate with construction teams, clients, and project managers to ensure all project scope is captured and properly priced. Your estimating expertise directly impacts project profitability and client satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine scope of work
• Conduct on-site assessments and perform precise measurements
• Calculate material quantities and labor hours based on industry standards and current rates
• Develop detailed estimates and proposals for client and internal review
• Evaluate cost factors including materials, labor, equipment, overhead, and project contingencies
• Communicate with clients, general contractors, and team members to clarify project details and specifications
• Maintain organized documentation and records for all estimates and project data
• Stay informed on material pricing, building codes, and industry trends

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated experience as a commercial drywall estimator or in a related estimating capacity
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial drywall and metal framing installation methods
• Proficiency reading and interpreting construction blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in calculations
• Strong communication skills and professional client interaction
• Capability to manage multiple estimates and projects concurrently
• Solid understanding of construction materials, labor rates, and industry pricing
• Experience with estimating software or construction management tools preferred
