About the Role
We're seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team in Pittsburg, Crawford County. As a Coach at our Quadplex community home, you'll work 20 hours per week at $15.75 per hour, providing meaningful support to individuals with disabilities. Your work will help foster independence, celebrate progress, and create a safe, inclusive environment where each person can thrive.
Core Duties
- Provide direct support and personal assistance to individuals with disabilities in a residential setting
- Support daily living skills, community engagement, and personal development activities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment at the Quadplex home
- Document progress and observations related to the individuals you support
- Communicate collaboratively with the Class team, family members, and support networks
- Respond with patience and professionalism to the diverse needs of each person in your care
Skills & Qualifications
- Genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities
- Ability to work the assigned schedule: Saturdays and Sundays 8 a.m.–2 p.m., and Tuesdays 2 p.m.–10 p.m.
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to safety protocols
- Flexibility and a positive attitude in a team environment
- No prior experience required—Class provides comprehensive training
