About the Role

As a Construction Surveillance Technician with Cencore Group, you will observe and document construction activity at a data center facility to confirm that every phase meets established security requirements, engineering standards, and project specifications. Partnering closely with builders, security staff, and project leadership, you will serve as a trusted set of eyes that keeps the project compliant and protected from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor on-site construction work to verify adherence to approved security protocols and procedures.
• Inspect installations, materials, and workmanship against project specifications and construction standards.
• Coordinate daily with the construction crew, security team, and project managers to flag and resolve concerns.
• Maintain detailed surveillance logs, reports, and documentation of observed activity.
• Help preserve the overall integrity and security posture of the facility throughout the build.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. security clearance is required for this cleared position.
• Prior experience as a Construction Surveillance Technician, ideally within a QTS or comparable secure-construction program.
• Working knowledge of construction practices, security protocols, and compliance procedures.
• Strong attention to detail with the discipline to document observations accurately and consistently.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on a busy job site.
• Willingness and ability to work full-time, on-site in Aurora, Arapahoe County — this role is not remote.
