As a Crosswalk Guard with Cartwright School District #83, you'll be part of our commitment to student safety and well-being. Working a four-day, full-time schedule, you'll ensure that our students can travel safely to and from school each day. This is a districtwide position that makes a direct, meaningful impact on our school community.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and manage traffic flow at assigned school crossings
- Direct students safely across roadways during peak arrival and dismissal times
- Enforce pedestrian and traffic safety protocols
- Communicate clearly with students, drivers, and school staff
- Maintain an alert, professional presence to prevent accidents and injuries
- Report safety concerns or incidents to school administration
