About the Role
We are seeking an experienced truck driver to join our logistics team at RCF Transport LLC. As a Class A W2 Local driver, you will be responsible for transporting various cargo types including pallets, lumber, and recycled materials using 53' dry van trailers, flatbed trailers, and dry pneumatic bulk trailers. This role requires adherence to strict safety protocols and the ability to operate vehicles in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport goods safely and efficiently across various routes
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations related to commercial driving
- Perform pre-trip, mid-trip, and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate documentation of deliveries
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the truck cab
Qualifications
- A valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements
- At least 10 years of experience in commercial driving
- Familiarity with various types of trailers including dry van, flatbed, and pneumatic bulk
- Strong safety record and ability to maintain a high level of professionalism
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
