About the Role

As a Class A Equipment Operator with hazmat credentials, you'll operate a diverse fleet of specialized trucks and equipment at customer sites throughout the region. You'll handle both driving and non-driving responsibilities in fast-paced cleanup operations, contributing to environmental protection and public safety across Los Angeles County.

What You'll Do

  • Operate Class A CDL vehicles including vacuum trucks, roll-off containers, guzzlers, and other specialized equipment
  • Execute hazardous waste removal and environmental remediation at customer locations
  • Perform equipment inspections, maintenance coordination, and pre-operation safety checks
  • Document job site activities, equipment operation, and waste handling procedures
  • Respond to emergency cleanup requests and time-sensitive environmental incidents
  • Maintain compliance with DOT, EPA, and HAZMAT transportation regulations
  • Assist with site setup, breakdown, and non-driving operational duties as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with HAZMAT endorsement
  • Proven experience operating heavy and specialized equipment
  • Strong knowledge of hazardous materials transportation and safety protocols
  • Ability to work on-call for emergency response situations
