Class A CDL Owner Operator – OTR

Diamond Transportation is hiring experienced Class A CDL Owner Operators for over-the-road (OTR) hauls out of Impact, Taylor County. If you own your truck, know your way around securement, and have the open-deck background to back it up, this independent contractor opportunity is built for you.

About the Role

We are partnering with Class A CDL Owner Operators ready to run OTR freight. This is a full-time, independent contractor position for drivers who supply their own equipment and bring proven open-deck experience. Strong familiarity with chaining, strapping, and load securement is essential to keep freight safe and on schedule across the country.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate your own truck on over-the-road (OTR) routes as a contracted Owner Operator
• Haul freight using RGN, flatbed, or stepdeck trailers
• Properly secure every load with correct chaining, strapping, and tie-down practices
• Inspect cargo and equipment to ensure compliance with safety and DOT standards
• Deliver shipments accurately, on time, and in good condition

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience
• Hands-on experience with RGN, flatbed, or stepdeck trailers
• Solid working knowledge of chaining, strapping, and freight securement
• Independent contractor status with your own truck
• Willingness and availability to run OTR routes
