What You'll Do

• Document readings from gauges, meters, and control panels into daily logs and shift reports

• Follow all safety, environmental, and lockout protocols while handling process chemicals and materials
• Support plant startups, shutdowns, and changeovers according to operational schedules
• Coordinate with fellow operators and supervisors to keep continuous production flowing smoothly

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or comparable foundational education
• Prior hands-on experience as a chemical plant operator or in a closely related process role, appropriate for an Op II level
• Working knowledge of chemical plant equipment, process controls, and instrumentation
• Demonstrated ability to read gauges, charts, and basic technical instructions accurately
• Strong focus on safety practices and the capacity to follow detailed standard operating procedures
• Mechanical aptitude suited to industrial process environments
• Reliability when working full-time shifts in a chemical plant setting in St. Gabriel, Louisiana
• Capability to perform the standing, walking, and equipment interaction typical of a Chemical Plant Op II role
