About the Role
You'll operate purpose-built tanker trailers designed specifically for hazardous chemical transport on regional routes with Pencco Inc. What You'll Do
- Operate lined tank trailers transporting corrosive chemicals on multi-state regional routes
- Execute thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain required logbooks
- Properly load, secure, and unload hazardous materials per DOT specifications
- Manage weight distribution and tank balance according to hazmat transportation standards
- Coordinate with shippers, receivers, and dispatch teams to ensure on-time, compliant deliveries
- Report vehicle maintenance needs and safety concerns immediately
What We're Looking For
- Active Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL A)
- Valid HazMat endorsement
- Valid Tanker endorsement
- Current Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Card)
- Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
- Current DOT medical certification
- Strong understanding of hazardous materials regulations
- Clean driving record and professional safety record
Compensation
This full-time position offers $32–$34 per hour based on experience.
