As a Security Officer, you are essential to maintaining a secure, supportive environment where students can focus on their training and personal development.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and patrol the facility to ensure the safety of students, staff, and property
- Control access to the center by checking identification and credentials
- Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, or security concerns
- Conduct regular security checks and maintain surveillance of campus areas
- Document incidents and maintain detailed written reports
- Enforce security policies and center rules consistently and professionally
- Coordinate with program leadership and emergency services when needed
- Support a positive campus culture aligned with the organization's core values of safety and respect
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Prior security or law enforcement experience preferred
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
- Commitment to supporting youth development and educational success
- Reliability and flexibility to work assigned shifts, including potential evening or weekend hours
- Valid driver's license and clean background check
