About the Role
This is a dedicated refrigerated hauling position with Hirschbach Motor Lines, one of the nation's established transportation providers. You'll operate company equipment on established routes covering multiple states, giving you the stability of predictable schedules while maintaining the earning potential of regional, long-haul work.
What You'll Do
- Operate a refrigerated commercial truck on assigned, dedicated routes across a multi-state territory
- Transport temperature-controlled freight safely and on schedule to customers across the region
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain equipment logs
- Communicate with dispatch and customers to ensure reliable, professional service
- Comply with all DOT regulations, Hours of Service rules, and company safety standards
Operating Territory
Your dedicated routes will span multiple states including Pennsylvania, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Missouri, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Maryland, Connecticut, and New Jersey. You'll develop familiar lanes and customer relationships while maintaining the earning potential that comes with regional hauling.
What We're Looking For
- Valid CDL-A license with current medical certification
- Clean driving record and passing background check
- Minimum 2–3 years verifiable over-the-road or regional trucking experience
- Experience with refrigerated freight is preferred
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with dispatch and customers
- Commitment to DOT compliance and vehicle maintenance
