What You'll Do
- Transport containers and chassis between ports, intermodal rail ramps, warehouses, and customer locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT standards
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery documentation, and equipment status reports
- Coordinate pickups and drop-offs with dispatch to meet tight schedules
- Ensure cargo security and compliance with weight and safety regulations
- Communicate proactively with customers, brokers, and terminals
What We're Looking For
- Valid CDL-A license with 6+ months verifiable owner operator or drayage experience
- Clean driving record and FMCSA compliance
- Reliable, well-maintained power unit and proof of insurance
- Strong knowledge of intermodal equipment handling (containers, chassis, dolly operations)
- Professional communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
