CDL A OTR Solo Truck Driver

Turner Trucking Company is seeking a CDL A OTR Solo Truck Driver for a full‑time position based in Rhodhiss.

About the Role

As a solo over‑the‑road driver, you will operate a Class A tractor‑trailer on long‑haul routes that primarily serve the West Coast, delivering freight and returning with fresh produce. This position offers a family‑oriented environment where drivers are known by name, not just a number.

What You'll Do

• Load, secure, and transport freight to destinations in California, Washington, and Oregon.
• Plan efficient routes while adhering to federal hours‑of‑service regulations and company safety standards.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, completing required paperwork accurately.
• Maintain communication with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries and address any road‑side issues.
• Return with produce or other cargo as assigned, keeping the trailer clean and ready for the next load.

What We're Looking For

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as an OTR solo driver; familiarity with refrigerated or dry van equipment is a plus.
• Ability to remain away from home for extended periods while managing personal health and wellness on the road.
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism.
• Willingness to complete a probationary period to qualify for the $2,500 sign‑on bonus, payable after approximately 90 days of continuous service.
