Sweet Express LLC is hiring a full-time CDL-A Dry Van Truck Driver based in Olean, New York, New York. This is an over-the-road (OTR) company driver role with an ASAP start date, paid on a per-mile basis ranging from $0.48 to $0.56 per mile, with potential earnings of up to 56 cents per mile depending on your application and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a dry van trailer safely and efficiently across OTR routes as a W-2 company driver.
- Complete pickups and deliveries on schedule while protecting freight integrity.
- Maintain accurate logs and stay compliant with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A).
- Willingness and availability to run OTR routes.
- Clean driving record and commitment to safety-first operation.
- Ability to start as soon as possible.
Pay & Additional Compensation
- Per-mile pay of $0.48 to $0.56, up to 56 CPM based on your application.
- Breakdown and layover pay of $100 per day after the first 24 hours.
- Detention pay of $15 per hour after the initial 2–3 hours.
