About the Role

This full-time position involves over-the-road trucking in our Dry Van division. As a company driver, you'll operate a tractor-trailer using our drop-and-hook freight system—picking up pre-loaded trailers and delivering them to designated locations. This streamlined approach reduces wait times at facilities, helping you maximize your earning potential. The position starts as soon as you're ready.

What You'll Do

• Operate a commercial tractor-trailer safely and professionally on interstate routes throughout the region
• Execute drop-and-hook logistics: picking up loaded trailers and dropping them at customer destinations
• Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain compliance documentation
• Log hours accurately using electronic logbook systems and adhere to federal hours-of-service regulations
• Coordinate with dispatch regarding route assignments, delivery schedules, and any operational concerns
• Maintain professional standards and follow Western Express safety and operational policies

What We're Looking For

• Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving history
• Minimum 2 years of commercial truck driving experience (or formal training equivalent)
• Proven safe driving performance in diverse weather and traffic conditions
