About the Role
As a trainee driver at McLane, you'll gain hands-on experience operating commercial vehicles across our nationwide network. What You'll Do
- Safely operate commercial vehicles transporting freight and supplies nationwide
- Follow all Department of Transportation regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate logbooks and trip documentation
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Build strong client relationships through professional, dependable service
- Contribute to on-time, damage-free deliveries
What We're Looking For
- Valid CDL-A license or willingness to obtain one
- Clean driving record and demonstrated commitment to safe driving practices
- Reliability and ability to meet delivery schedules consistently
- Professional demeanor and honest communication
- Willingness to learn and grow in a mentored training environment
- Ability to pass background check and DOT medical exam
