About the Role

This is a 1099 contract opportunity for two-person CDL A teams running over-the-road dry van (and refrigerated) freight on long-haul lanes that move from the East to the West. The position is full-time and based out of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, with live loads handled throughout your routes. Pay is structured per mile, ranging from $0.50 to $0.55 depending on the driver, which gives motivated teams the chance to earn between $2,000 and $5,000 each week.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate as a CDL A team to transport dry van and refrigerated freight on OTR routes
• Run cross-country lanes traveling from the East Coast toward the West
• Handle live loading assignments safely and on schedule
• Maintain compliance with all DOT and FMCSA hours-of-service and safety regulations
• Communicate consistently with dispatch to keep deliveries on time
• Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections to keep equipment road-ready

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A)
• Willingness to drive as part of a two-person OTR team
• Comfortable with long-haul, over-the-road schedules and extended time on the road
• Experience with dry van and refrigerated trailers preferred
• Eligible to work as a 1099 independent contractor
• Clean driving record and commitment to safe operations
