The Opportunity

U.S. Xpress is seeking experienced CDL-A Over the Road (OTR) drivers for our Dry Van fleet. As a company driver with 1-5 months of experience, you will have the opportunity to drive solo and cover an average of 2,000 miles per week. Our competitive pay structure includes $2,000 in sign-on bonuses and top performance bonuses. The average weekly earnings range from $52,000 to $56,000 based on experience.

• 1-5 months of driving experience required
• No touch freight operations
• Predictable home time schedule with 5 days off every 28 days out
• Consistent and planned route schedules
• Top 20% of OTR drivers earn $1,500 weekly

Core Duties

The primary responsibilities include:

• Pick up and deliver freight across the United States
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation for all deliveries
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure safe driving practices
• Perform pre-trip, mid-trip, and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Communicate with dispatchers and customers as needed

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record
• 1-5 months of OTR driving experience preferred but not required
• Prior trucking experience is advantageous
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Familiarity with OTR operations and logistics
