What This Role Involves
As a CDL-A Company Driver for U.S. Xpress - Dedicated, you will be responsible for driving dry van trucks on dedicated routes. You'll enjoy great home time and competitive pay, with the opportunity to earn up to $70,000 annually or more. Bonuses may be available based on performance.
What You'll Do
- Pick up and deliver freight in a safe and timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues encountered during transport
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding shipment status
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record
- 1-5 months of commercial driving experience preferred but not required
- Prior dry van driving experience is beneficial
- A strong commitment to safety and adherence to all company policies
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed
